The Balmy Blooms notebook has been created in conjunction with the talented Sinead Yau. We love her colourful designs and were delighted when she agreed to collaborate to create these vibrant notebooks. This Balmy Blooms Notebook is made from recycled materials, the inner paper is white lined and made from consumer waste that would otherwise go to landfill. Cesca are proud to make this notebook in the UK using traditional book binding techniques. We have teamed this vibrant Mojo Valley design with an orange elastic strap and pink gross grain ribbon to complement the kitsch design. We simply love the end result we hope you do too, we are delighted to work in conjunction with Sinead and Mojo Valley. -
If you care about the environment and want a high quality a4 notebook we have the perfect solution. Our BioD A4 Notebook is made from a biodegradable outer material. The inner paper if cream lined from a managed source and when you finish your notebook no need to send it to landfill. Tear out the inner paper block this can be added to your household paper recycling. The cover can then be placed in compostable waste and will biodegrade ion around three to four months. The card in the cover slows the process slightly but in compostable conditions the BioD material is proven to biodegrade in 180 days. This a4 notebook ideal for your desk, the paper is sewn bound so it lies entirely flat, this makes it easy to write on both sides of the page, there is a handy ribbon page marker to keep your place. At Cesca all of our notebooks are made in the UK, this reduces the airmiles of the product but also helps to sustain skills and jobs in the UK. We aim to preserve traditional skills for generations to come as well as safeguarding the environment and there is no need for this notebook to add to landfill once you have finished using it. The white lined paper is recycled from waste paper that would usually be destined for landfill. The inner card is also recycled. The cover is a patented material that looks like a traditional book covering — but is biodegradable in compostable conditions. This means that once you have finished using your notebook, and if you don't want to keep your notes, you can pull the paper out and recycle it in your everyday office or household recycling. The book cover can then go into your compostable waste and will biodegrade. It works by attracting microbes that break down the bonds in the material. Cesca's BioD notebooks are crafted in the UK to lessen the carbon footprint. We minimise waste by using all of the material — even the scraps to make other small products. BioD Compact Pocket Notebook is ideal for your pocket or bag it is available in a choice of five colours. This is the ultimate eco conscious notebook, because the cover is biodegradable, the paper is recycled and the notebook is made in the UK to reduce the carbon footprint. The pages are 80gsm recycled white lined paper which is sewn bound, This allows the book to lie completely flat when in use to create the perfect surface for writing. The paper is recycled from waste paper that would normally be destined for landfill, thus reducing the mountains of paper waste that go to landfill every year. The cover is made from a lightly textured BioD material which unlike plastics is biodegradable in compostable conditions. This means that once you have finished using your notebook the paper book block can be torn from the cover and placed in your normal office or house hold recycling. Then the book cover can be placed into your compostable heap or compostable waste and will biodegrade in around 180 days. The BioD material is produced so that the fibres attract microbes that break down the bonds and the material slowly decomposes. Cesca's BioD notebooks are crafted in the UK which not only helps to reduce the miles they travel but also allows us to employ and train local people saving traditional bookbinding techniques for the generations to come. -
